New Community Church

Our story began in 1999 when Dawn and I felt called to plant a new church. Because of our age (early 20’s) and our experience, we were challenged to consider finding an existing church to connect with and to learn as much as we could in that setting.

So, in October of 2000 we landed at NorthView Christian Church in Buford, GA. After spending six amazing years of ministry at NorthView, Dawn and I felt it was time to lead out with a new work. In June of 2006, we asked our Elders at NorthView if we could go to Jackson County. With much consideration and prayer, they released us to start moving forward with this vision.

New Community raised up 11 families to begin this new church.  After months of preparation and planning, we launched the church on February 25th,2007 from West Jackson Primary School in Braselton.  We had over 160 people from the community come for our grand opening and we are currently averaging 150 in attendance.  We are thrilled with what God is doing and with all that is happening in the life of New Community.  If you are looking for a safe place to connect, this is it.  Join us in the journey.

Chapter Two:  Begining September 7th, New Community will move and launch from our new campus!  We have leased and renovated the 26,000 square foot "safety storage" building in Hoschton, right across from the new Dollar General. 

We launched from our new campus on September 7th, 2008 and 267 people showed up to break the new place in...it was awesome.  If you are looking for a safe place to connect, NC is that place!
